A personal project by Luis Godoy Alvarez: practical notes, guides and a start plan for people who want to build something of their own on the side in Germany.
Why this exists
Starting often feels more complicated than the first step really is.
Many people do not start with a finished business plan. They start with a skill, an idea or a small request from their surroundings. Then terms like Gewerbeanmeldung, Finanzamt, Kleinunternehmerregelung, receipts, bank account, employer or imprint suddenly appear.
This site is meant to sort the beginning: what you need to understand, what you need to check and which step is useful next.
